Happy Birthday Jules!

It's Juliya's birthday!!!! I used the same materials as my previous post. Hope you like!

Happy Birthday Gabrielle!

My baby is 9 years old! This is the quick card I made for her.
I got to use some of my new in color products that I got on Friday. I cut out and adhered the Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry hats over the Melon Mambo. Hands down, SU has the best color names ever!
I used the very versatile Party Hearty for this card as well as Wow Flowers which makes an awesome background.
I also used a Martha Stewart punch for the bottom of the mambo layer.
Check out my new catty in the background!
I have a new wish list with only 30 items on it! It's going to be a fun SU year!
Hope you like!

Lisa is teaching me about the camera I've had for a year and a half. Check out these two pictures. The first is the original and the second is sharpened ALA Lisa's Tutorial. I used Adobe Photoshop - a program I know next to nothing about. It's great to learn something new at my age :). Check out her blog and try some of her challenges out. You never know what you may learn!!
(I'm not sure if you can tell the difference -it is very subtle on the post, but in a bigger size, it's quite impressive.)

This is from Lisa's sharp as a tack tutorial:

Two Posts in One Day!!!!

You can tell it's summer vacation by the activity on my blog. Thanks for stopping by! Our swap theme last month was "Anything but a card" and I was cased a fellow blogger and can't remember who. I'll look for it and report back.
The back panel is DSP, the foreground is masked and stamped, and the b'flies are popped up as is the sentiment.
Anyway, hope you like!

PaperTrey Dad Card

My swap group did Masculine Cards this month and this is what I came up with. I got inspiration over at http://stamptv.com with Gina's tutorial/video on embossing with nesties and using them as stencils. It's hard to see from this picture that the front panel is embossed around the edge.

I just adore this little frog. I embossed the focal point with my nesties and then sponged with Bliss Blue. The bottom panel is retired DSP (parisien something or other) . I'm trying to use up some of my OLD cardstock so I used my River Rock. The ink is Bliss Blue, River Rock, and True Thyme. Hope you like! Glad you stopped by!

Baby Quilting

I needed a quick card for a coworker, so what better than Quilting, Sticker, embossing, and faux stitching? I was happy to use some retired DSP from SU.
