kwerner color challenge 9

Very quick post. The kids are screaming for the computer. Here's challenge 9. it's all about the color. Some of you may recognize the ladybug as a cover up for a rubber stamping shadow. I inked up 2 sets that hadn't seen ink, so that was good.

Happy Mother's Day

I made a coupla cards that I cased from Jen Del Muro. I can't find the orginal link, but the cards are very similar. I masked the rectangles with post-its. The stamps are SU retired I believe as well as PT's pond life.

kwerner color challenge 8

I got some fun mail yesterday and couldn't wait to use it. I used my new Basic Grey Gypsy (which is gorgeous!) and my PT pond life and pond life sentiments. The fish are behind 1 3/8 punched holes on Soft Sky. Check out Kristina's challenge here. I can't wait to see what everyone did!

I used Allison's Girls of the World :)

Check out the Girls of the World clip art on Allison's blog. I used one of the images as the focal point for this card.

I thought I'd do a belated Cinco de Mayo card for my girl Raquel.

I had the chance to use my copics AND my cuttlebug folder with ink. I really like the way the card came out. I thought the background was busy enough not to have any embellishment. What do you think? Too simple?

Ingredients:

paper: PT summer sunrise, SU Real Red, PT white, & Berry Sorbet

image: clip art

ink: Real red, copics (unknown)

accessories: thank you Cuttlebug folder

Here are my 7 things:
1. I had an editorial I wrote published on a full page with my picture in our local paper when I was 12. It was about capital punishment. (yes, i was a bit geeky)
2. I had a squirrel monkey as a pet when I lived in New York.

5. I met Muhammed Ali and Eddie Murphy in my younger years.
6. German was my first language.
7. I had a hard time thinking of 7 interesting things - how sad!
