New Banner

If you could see my home today, you would ask why in the world I spent time on this today. If you're visiting this blog, though, you probably know the world can be crashing down around us and we'll create! I had to play with MDS since I made the investment and created the blog banner courtesy of Patti's tutorial and some help from Google. Check out her tutorial here. Check out her banner - Gorgeous!!!
Thanks Patti!

Thanks for the turkey!

I thought I could use this card as a thank you for Thanksgiving dinner at my sister in law's. I used Stamping411's great sketch for this week. It really makes a pretty card I think. I used SUs bermuda bay for my accent color. The details for the sketch challenge can be found here. Enjoy this gorgeous Sunday if you're in the Southeast!

Hodgepodge Bavarian Birthday

I was playing around with some red embossing powder I found in my closet and created this hodgepodgey card. I so love this Alpine Ribbon from last year's mini and am getting around to using it. I always feel like I don't use my materials enough. The problem is there is so much CUUUTE stuff out there that I have to have. There's just not enough time in my day. I believe that if I had a dedicated stamping space, that would change. What's your experience with that? Anyway, hope you like the card.

Anniversary Challenge Card

It's my brother and sis-in-law's anniversary. Stamping 411 gave me just the inspiration I needed to design a card. Hope you like! All products are SU except the border punch. Check out the beautiful cards submitted for this sketch at Stamping 411. Play along. I love to see what everyone creates. There are always things I wish I'd thought of. Love these challenges!
